The Washington Post Lounge at Cannes Lions

June 2025

I led the design of The Washington Post Lounge at Cannes Lions, an immersive event space in Cannes, France crafted for industry professionals to connect, learn, and engage with new ideas across journalism, media, and storytelling. The space was designed to reflect The Post's editorial identity while functioning as a dynamic venue for programming, conversation, and brand presence on one of the advertising and media industry's most prominent global stages. This involved translating the brand's visual identity into a physical environment, balancing aesthetics with the practical demands of a high-traffic, multi-use space that needed to feel both inviting and intellectually stimulating. From spatial layout and environmental graphics to material choices and experiential details, every design decision was made in service of creating a space where meaningful industry dialogue could take place.
